What are the next steps?
Since the January 2019 approval by the City of Meridian for this development, we have been hard at work preparing for construction. We are finalizing the design for safety and mobility improvements to roadways as well as the design on-site improvements to enhance the pedestrian accessibility and destination feel for the Main Street shops.
What is the current project timeline?
The current timeline includes finalizing the design in 2019 and construction in 2020. WinCo is anticipating opening in Fall 2020, and the Library is anticipating a grand opening in late Summer/Fall of 2021.

Who are the tenants committed to Linder Village?
WinCo Foods will be the anchor supermarket at Linder Village. We have received interest from several juniors, shops, restaurants, gas, fitness, banking, drug stores, urgent care/medical, entertainment and residential users, and we look forward to announcing tenants in the coming months! Please stay tuned for updates.
Will there be a Library branch located at Linder Village?
The Meridian Library District has expressed interest in opening a new 15,000 SF library branch that would occupy space planned for civic use at Linder Village. We remain committed to adding community space in the form of a new library branch to serve northwest Meridian at Linder Village, and conversations are underway to finalize these plans. This new library took a step forward in May when voters passed the plant facilities levy needed to make this a reality with 67 percent of the vote. It is anticipated that the library at Linder Village would be complete in late Summer/Fall 2021 on track with the rest of the development.
When are roadway improvements scheduled to take place?
As part of this development project, Chinden Boulevard is planned to be widened to five lanes from North Linder Road to North Meridian Road in 2020 and then to North Locust Grove Road in 2021. ACHD plans to widen Linder Road from Cayuse Creek — less than a mile south of this site — north to Chinden Boulevard this year.
When will I be able to live at Linder Village?
Plans for Linder Village include a pocket neighborhood of high quality single-family detached dwellings adjacent to the neighboring single-family homes and detached or attached dwellings on the remainder of the property. The specific residential subdivision layout, design and materials will be processed separately as another phase of the Linder Village proposal, subject to the City’s application and design review process.
